Several of my families this holiday season decided to bring a change of clothes to their holiday shoots (see below for holiday sweater awesomeness) Getting a little creative and crazy at your family shoot is the BEST thing you can do. What do kids enjoy more than having fun with mom and dad?
Tips for a successful family photo shoot:
- Come prepared to have fun. This family is the perfect example, they were ready to toss, piggy back and dress up to get their kids loosened up and laughing
- Feel comfortable in what you are wearing. You want to look your best but still like yourself!
- Share with your photog what makes your family unique or makes your family laugh. This will give your photog a jump on getting the party started.
- Don’t worry too much about getting the perfect smile, if the kids are having fun, the smiles will come
